Titanium Grade 12 Plates

What is Titanium Grade 12 Plate?

Titanium Grade 12 Plates are alloy plates that combine titanium with small amounts of nickel (0.6–0.9%) and molybdenum (0.2–0.4%), which makes them stronger than commercially pure titanium. These plates offer excellent resistance to crevice corrosion, high-temperature stability, and good weldability. The composition includes up to 0.015% hydrogen, 0.30% iron, 0.03% nitrogen, 0.18% oxygen, 0.08% carbon, with 0.6–0.9% nickel and 0.2–0.4% molybdenum. Mechanically, they provide a tensile strength of 483 MPa (70 ksi), yield strength of 345 MPa (50 ksi), and elongation of 18%. These plates are supplied by Parag Metal, a reputable stockist, supplier, and exporter that is dedicated to quality, prompt delivery, and client satisfaction across international industries, especially the Middle East.
These plates follow international standards like ASTM B265 / ASME SB265 and are available in sizes ranging from 500mm to 12000mm in length and 100mm to 3000mm in width. They are in different forms like coils, foils, rolls, plain sheets, strips, flats, blanks, and rings. Known for having high strength-to-weight ratio, these plates resist corrosion in chloride media and perform well under heat. They are appropriate for both precision and heavy-duty applications due to their formability and weldability.

Titanium Grade 12 Plates
Titanium Grade 12 Plates are widely used in industries where strength, corrosion resistance, and heat tolerance are critical. Some applications include oil and gas plants, pulp and paper mills, power generation, and chemical processing. They are also utilized in exhaust systems, heat exchangers, marine equipment, and desalination plants. Because of their resilience to wear and durability, they find applications outside of industry in contemporary architecture, automotive components, and food processing systems. Melting the alloy, forging it into billets, hot or cold rolling to produce plate thickness, heat treatment, and surface finishing are the steps involved in manufacturing.
All ASTM B265 Titanium Grade 12 sheets are tested and certified before supply. Tests include hardness, chemical analysis, flattening, flaring, PMI, pitting resistance, and intergranular corrosion tests. Our customers receive certifications such as raw material reports, 100% radiography reports, and third-party inspection reports. To prevent damage during transport, we pack the sheets in strong wooden pallets, cartons, or cases, ensuring they remain safe and rust-free until delivery.

Advantages of Titanium Grade 12 Plate
