Hiperco 50A Plates – Composition, Properties & Pricing

What is a Hiperco 50A Plate?

Hiperco 50A plate, also known as Permendur 50 plate, is a high-performance soft magnetic nickel alloy material manufactured from an iron–cobalt–vanadium alloy. It contains controlled amounts of carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, copper, nickel, cobalt, and iron. This unique composition provides very high magnetic saturation and permeability. This makes it one of the most advanced soft magnetic nickel alloy alloys available for tough industrial and electrical uses. The Hiperco 50A plate has a density of 8.20 g/cm³. This gives it great tensile strength whether it is annealed or not. It is perfect for applications where efficiency, compact design and magnetic performance are important as it works well even when there are high magnetic flux densities.

Parag Metal is a globally recognized Hiperco 50A plate supplier in India, known for consistent quality, reliable sourcing, and timely delivery. We supply materials that meet strict international standards and support a wide range of project requirements across industries. Our customers benefit from dependable availability and competitive Hiperco 50A plate price without compromising on quality.

Hiperco 50A plate is available in a wide range of sizes, forms, and surface finishes to meet diverse engineering and fabrication requirements. The plates are supplied in widths ranging from 1000 mm to 3500 mm, with lengths of up to 6000 mm. Cold-rolled Hiperco 50A plates come in thicknesses ranging from 0.5 mm to 6.4 mm. Hot-rolled plates, on the other hand, come in thicknesses ranging from 3.0 mm to 12.0 mm. The material can come in a number of different forms, such as sheets, plates, strips, flats, clad plates, coils, foils, shims, and blanks. There are several options for the surface finish, including cold rolled, hot rolled, satin finish with a protective coating, and No. 1 finish. To suit different mechanical and forming requirements, the plates are available in soft, quarter hard, half hard, hard, and spring hard hardness conditions.

Hiperco 50A plate supplied by Parag Metal conforms to internationally recognised quality and performance standards to ensure reliability in critical applications. The material is manufactured and tested in accordance with ASTM A801 Alloy Type 1 and MIL A 47182 specifications. This ensures consistent magnetic, mechanical, and dimensional properties. In addition, UNS R30005 plate options are available to meet specific project and industry requirements. This makes the material suitable for high-precision electrical, aerospace, and defense applications.

ASTM A801 Alloy Type 1 plate has superior magnetic properties than other types of plate. This lets designers reduce the amount of copper windings, weight, and insulation needed for transformers, motors, and inductors. Hiperco 50A plate has the highest magnetic saturation of any soft magnetic nickel alloy alloy, and it also has low core loss compared to regular electrical steel. Permendur 50 plate is the best material for aerospace systems, defense equipment, and high-efficiency electrical machinery where performance and reliability are very important because it works well even when the magnetic flux density is high.

Parag Metal checks the quality of every MIL A 47182 plate they send out. This includes checking the dimensions, testing the mechanics, and examining the surface. We export to many Gulf countries on a regular basis, and each order is carefully packed with protective materials to keep them safe during shipping. As a reliable Hiperco 50A plate stockist, we make sure that the quality of the materials is always high, they meet standards, and that delivery times are always reliable.
