What is Monel K500 Plate?

Monel K500 plate is a strong nickel-copper alloy with added aluminum and titanium. It offers outstanding resistance to seawater, chemicals, and corrosion cracking. Parag Metal supplies Monel K500 plates that meet tough industry demands. This alloy (UNS-N-05500) is used for marine parts, pump shafts, fasteners and oil tools. It is available in different forms, like QQ-N-286 FORM 6 and QQ-N-286 FORM 3.

 

Monel K500 plate has high tensile strength and good fatigue resistance. It keeps its toughness even at low temperatures. The composition includes about 63% nickel, 30% copper, and small amounts of iron, aluminum, and titanium. It has a density of 8.44 g/cm³ and can work in high-heat conditions.
