Titanium Grade 5 wire, also known as Ti-6Al-4V, is one of the most widely used titanium alloys. It offers an excellent mix of strength, corrosion resistance, and heat resistance. Parag Metals supplies high-quality Titanium Grade 5 wires with a typical composition of 90% titanium, 6% aluminium and 4% vanadium. The density of this alloy is 4.43 g/cm³, the melting temperature is 1632°C, and it also exhibits excellent tensile strength (up to 138000 psi). It is known for strength-to-weight ratio and toughness, so it finds frequent usage in aerospace, medical, and industrial applications. Equivalent grades include UNS R56400 and Werkstoff Nr. 3.7165.
These wires are available under standards ASTM B 863 and ASME SB 863. We offer them in sizes ranging from 1mm to 14mm. Titanium Gr 5 wires are lightweight yet strong, with great fatigue resistance. They provide superior performance even in challenging conditions. Their high weldability and formability enable them to be employed in precision parts. The wires hold their shape and strength even after cold-rolling, which is perfect for different forming operations.
Table of Content

Titanium Grade 5 wire is widely used in aerospace parts, marine hardware, chemical processing, and oil & gas systems. Its strong resistance to seawater and oxidizing agents makes it ideal for harsh environments. These wires are also used in heat exchangers, sports equipment, and surgical devices. Compared to other products, Titanium Gr 5 wire offers lower weight and excellent corrosion resistance at a lower cost, depending on specifications. The inconel 625 round bar price typically varies based on size and standards like ASTM B446 and ASME SB 446.
Our each batch is subjected to rigorous quality testing. We check mechanical strength, chemical makeup, and surface finishing. Each of our wires meets global standards and is packed carefully for safe transport across the globe.
Very good corrosion resistance, performing well in seawater, chlorides, and chemical environments.
Excellent heat resistance, maintaining strength at elevated temperatures.
Good fatigue and crack resistance, suitable for high-stress applications.
Strong yet workable, allowing effective machining, forming, and welding with proper methods.
Applied in medical devices for biocompatible surgical instruments, orthodontic wires, and implant components.
Used in automotive and motorsport for high-performance, heat-resistant wire parts.
Employed in marine environments for corrosion-resistant springs, meshes, and wire forms.
Used in chemical processing for wire components exposed to chlorides, acids, and corrosive media.
