The titanium alloy (Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni) which is used to make Titanium Grade 12 Wires, is known for its excellent corrosion resistance and strength. With additions like iron (0.25% max), oxygen (0.2% max), aluminum (6% min) and vanadium (4% min), the alloy has at least 90% titanium. With a modulus of elasticity of 103 GPa, a density of 4,507 kg/m³, and a melting point of 1668°C, it provides a good mix of toughness and flexibility. Due to these characteristics, it can be used in both high and low-temperature applications.
