Monel 400 pipes are made from a strong nickel-copper alloy known for its resistance to corrosion and seawater. This B165 N04400 alloy contains around 67% nickel and 23% copper, along with iron and trace elements. Monel 400 works well in high temperatures—up to 1000°F—and has a density of 8.80 g/cm³ and a melting point between 2370°F and 2460°F.
