Hastelloy X Sheet

What is Hastelloy X Sheet?

Hastelloy X Sheet is a nickel-based alloy built for tough, high-heat environments. It’s made from nickel, chromium, iron and molybdenum, which gives it strength and stability at high temperatures. Parag Metal supplies top-grade Hastelloy X Sheets known for their strong performance, weldability and solid fabrication features. It resists oxidation and holds up under stress, even in extreme conditions. With a melting point of 1355°C and a tensile strength of 95 KSI.

This alloy is used where heat and corrosion are constant challenges. It holds steady at temperatures up to 1200°C and resists oxidation, carburization, and cracking. It’s easy to form and weld using standard methods like TIG or MIG. Hastelloy X Sheet is used in aerospace parts like afterburners and flame holders, and in gas turbines. It’s also common in furnace trays, muffle tubes, and rolls. In the chemical and petrochemical industry, it works well in piping and furnace hardware. Even nuclear and power plants use it for heat exchangers and gas duct components.
