Inconel 625 - LCF Forging

What is Inconel 625 - LCF Forgings ?

Inconel 625-LCF forging, is made especially for uses where resistance to low cycle fatigue is essential. Many demanding applications such as chemical processing equipment, offshore platforms, power generation, turbines and aerospace engines use these forgings. High-quality Inconel 625 LCF forged parts that satisfy global standards are provided by Parag Metals to a variety of industries. We provide competitive prices, custom made Inconel 625-LCF forged rings, block and shafts.

The chemical composition of Inconel 625-LCF enhances its mechanical and corrosion-resistant properties. It has at least 58% nickel, 20–23% chromium for oxidation resistance, 8–10% molybdenum for increased strength and 3.15–4.15% niobium for increased fatigue resistance. Other components are cobalt, iron, manganese, and traces of carbon and silicon. Its density is 8.44 g/cm³ and a melting point of 1290–1350°C. It provides tensile strength of 769.5 MPa, yield strength of 319 MPa, and high ductility with 63% elongation at break. Its Rockwell hardness is 84 and it retains strength even at high temperatures.
