Hastelloy X wire is a high-performance alloy wire known for handling extreme heat, up to 2200°F. It resists stress corrosion cracking and works well in both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres. The wire is easy to form and weld, both by hand and machine. At Parag Metals, we supply Hastelloy X wire in solution-treated condition, following a heat treatment at 2150°F with rapid cooling. Whether used in coil or filler form this wire is ideal for high-heat environments.
Hastelloy X wire is frequently used in demanding industries including offshore oil drilling and power plants, because of its heat resistance and strength. Its applications include gas processing, specialty chemical plants, and pharmaceutical equipment. Its corrosion resistance makes it suitable for seawater applications, heat exchangers, condensers, and paper manufacture.
Table of Content
We offer Hastelloy X wire to specifications such as AMS 5754 and AMS 5798, with dimensions that adhere to ANSI/AWCI – 01-1992 and ASTM E 2016-11. We offer lengths from 100 mm to 6000 mm and diameters from 10 mm to 100 mm.
Each order undergoes testing and certification, and we give EN 10204/3.1B, raw material certificates, 100% radiography results, and third-party inspections. To prevent damage, each wire is manually wrapped and placed in sealed wooden boxes or pallets. As a trusted Hastelloy X wire supplier, we ensure fast and safe delivery.
